A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Gib Singleton’s 2008 “Olympian” will fund the US 2008 Olympic Team.
The sculpture will be on display in Beijing during the 2008 Olympic Games.
Three pieces from this edition will be on display in the following three museums:
- International Olympic Committee Museum, Lusanne, Switzerland
- United States Olympic Committee Museum, Colorado Springs, Colorado
- American Sports Art Museum/US Sports Academy, Daphne, Alabama
